Guild Wars 2

So, I’m wondering why GW2 doesn’t have a “Set” tab.
Let me explain.
As most players swap out equipment for pve/wvw/dungeons, why is there not something so simple as a “Set” tab. In which you can allocate 6 set pieces and up to 4 weapons. Set A could be healer, Set B could be crit, Set C could have damage set. Instead of trying to follow which items you have and where in your inventory, allocate them here, and simply click the required set/tab after setting it up to have them equipped. I have seen it done in one other game, and works very well.
Anybody else think this would be a good idea to implement?

It is such a great idea. So good it has been recommended a few times before. Hasn’t been implemented and my opinion is it never will be. I guess i’m wrong though.

Yeah, gear sets would be really nice. WoW and RIFT offers them and it’s made things very convenient. It frees up bag space so we don’t have to carry loads of gear for dungeons, fractals, PvP and WvW. Having a tab that would allow us to drop the gear in and switch to them for every instance would get a lot of applause. I’m pretty sure you could even make it a gem store upgrade. I’d farm enough gold to buy 1k gems for it.

Seems like something people think is a good idea, how hard can it be to implement, really? You’re right, maybe start with 2 sets, and to unlock a 3rd or more, purchase from gem store

Item sets and build saving are literally two of the most requested features since launch. People who played the beta have said that it was regularly mentioned even then. Three years later and still nothing.

You mean a template system? Yeah players have been asking for that for a while.
