As I understand it, Anet apparently said there is no effect on the drop rate of essence of luck depending on which salvage kit you use. But does this include the drop quality? IE more rare essence of luck if using master than basic. Basically asking, because I have started using mystics rather than standards due to inventory space problems. I understand they done this for the copper fed salvage omatic, which Im considering switching over to if there is no difference in quality over a mystic salvage kit.

i dont think the rarity is affected by what salvage kit you use. However if its a level 80 green you should at least use basic if not fine. Anything more i would recommend against. Especially since mystic is the same quality as masters just save it for rares and such.

how the wood and the oricalcum have increased u might get some profit even using mystic savage kit on those 80 drops

Just buy fine salvage kits for karma from cultural weapons vendors. If salvaging extra luck took more than a fine kit, I wouldn’t do it anyway.

Unless of course you’re one of those suckers stuck on the wrong end of the karma nerf.
