Title should be self-explanatory.

Currently, every profession (with the exception of Engineer) has five core utility types, but, of these, only three ever have corresponding heal and elite skills or a fourth has one but not the other. This lowers the potential of these utilities and their associated traits. To make matters worse, these are often utility types that are considered subpar to begin with (such as Spirit Weapons on the Guardian and traps on the Thief/Ranger).

Simply put, this would be a great way to give each class a stronger foundation to expand their design in addition to the elite specs.

It’s better since the last skill/trait system update. Some current heals and elites don’t really fit with the others, although they did “shoehorn” a few others to fit.

Still, it would be nice to see this more consistent. I expect that to happen around the same time that every skill and trait has a corresponding underwater version.

Still, it would be nice to see this more consistent. I expect that to happen around the same time that every skill and trait has a corresponding underwater version.

I don’t know about that one. It seems like that like to pretend that underwater combat doesn’t exist.

I agree with OP. As much as I like what used to be Rampage as One, I’d like to see what they could do with an Elite Signet.

I’ve been thinking this since the new system came out and all the heal/elite skills got reclassified. I’d very much like to see them evened out.
( And maybe classify some of the racial skills too? )
