Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Since launch we’ve had.
1. Reworked PvP rewards, introduction of arcane converter.
2. Spectator Mode.
3. Leaderboards.
4. One on One Tournament Team Matches.
5. 3 PvP maps introduced.
6. Solo Queue.
7. Permanent finishers.
8. Several UI polishing, including displaying PvP rank and minimap adjustments.
Things coming out by the end of this year:
1. PvP Legendaries
2. PvP reward system completely reworked.
Vs Mists of Pandaria expansion which only added
2 BG maps
2 Arena Maps
PvP updates are faster than any other MMORPG game.

-Besides Laurels, PvP rewards are some of the laziest slopped together things I’ve ever seen (just recycled PvE gear given at certain levels, and doesn’t even mirror PvE progressions((Arah gear is easiest to get???)))

3. Leaderboards.
- Again who cares? Solo que is literally a lottery of “Did i get on the the team with the least amount of idiots?”, then we have “team” que which is either 2/3 friends teamed with each other, casual guild 5 mans, OR 5 man teams all in voice chat that destroy any unorganized team. Leaderboards wont mean jack until there is GvG (Why is this game even called guild wars?)
4. One on One Tournament Team Matches.
- Something that should of been in from the start?

- A terrible one that uses no matchmaking (why am I qued with lvl t1 people at t4?) Anet can say they implemented matchmaking all they want, but until I see my MMR I’m not believing a word of it.
7. Permanent finishers.
-Something that should of been from the start, Purely cosmetic, and is now used as a cash shop gimmick
8. Several UI polishing, including displaying PvP rank and minimap adjustments.
- Something that again should of been in from the start / Easily fixed if Anet allowed 3rd party mods

- Another 2000 hour grind oh boy!

-This would be nice, but im pretty sure its just going to be more recycled content.
They can add whatever “features” they want, if the core pvp gameplay is not fun then it’s all worthless.
Actually that’s not entirely true. There are other issues besides spammy and skilless gameplay. The rank system is way too carebear and rewards everyone win or lose, so it’s a poor measure of player skill and offers little prestige. Also this conquest is so mind-numbingly boring and stale, a similar mode in gw1 was barely considered pvp when compared to Random Arenas even. So I would say there are 3 large problems with core pvp that make all the bells and whistles they want to add completely meaningless.

Adding legendaries, yep that will fix the broken gameplay and ever worsening meta. Esport here we come!
Completely separate pvp/pve skills and have a dedicated team working on pvp balance.
Rework the ranking system.
Add new game modes.
Run a tournament correctly.
Ofc, that is not to say that they are not already working to add/address the above.

People that insult leaderboards being a complete joke tend to be the worst players on it, just pointing that out.

I hate the leaderboards and I get in first almost every time I enter.
Given the size of the pvp team, they have done quite a lot. Most of the resources for this game goes to pve.
Heavens Rage
I am extremely dissapointed that we still only have one mode.
Also about the fact that so many armour sets are not available in PvP.
