Long story short; I made an Asura, and obtained sunrise on it. I wasn’t satisfied with how it looked on him, so I reroll the same class as a Svar. I transmuted my sword, so that I was able to use it on my newly rolled char. Until today the stats were the same as the Sunrise before I transmuted it, however today they introduce that legendaries are slightly stronger. My sunrise wasn’t effect by this changed, because of it being exotic. Is this a problem being looked into?

Legendaries were reverted to exotic stats.

Probably because no ascended weapons are released yet and it would give an unfair advantage for people with legendaries.

Sorry to tell you but the game identifies the item based on the one that had the stats that you used, aka the one that wasn’t souldbound. Try equip/equipping it. The prompt will display the name of the item you applied the skin to. It may look like a lengendary but you just have a pretty exotic now.

What do you mean downgrade? Exotics, and legendaries shared the same stats (and once again do), the problem is that it wasn’t considered a legendary if you did this; however Anet has confirmed that it’s a bugged and will be fixed. So no clue what you’re talking about. Wow.
