I’m not certain if this is an exploit or working as intended. If one uses the Golem Banker(sent by mail to deluxe or above accounts) in the instance immediately after character creation, you can get a stored Experience Scroll as well as any weapons you would like to fully train on.
Since the level of the first personal story instance is not capped, after using the scroll a single hit opens the next weapon unlock vs the level 1 monsters. Since the Golem Banker gives well bank access you can have other characters on the account feed weapons to the newly created level 20. You can even log out of the new character without completing the instance and return to the instance.
Since we get a scroll with every Massive Achievement Chest, it can offer for deluxe(or better) accounts one extra layer of ease to new character creations.

I don’t think this should be an exploit. When you get out of the instance and use the scroll you can do the same thing. What’s the difference, really?

Why should it give you any sort of advantage? First story is not even hard.

Not an exploit, in truth I use the introduction story to quickly get through leveler and personal story dailies if my time is limited. Having a set of account bound armor with a greatsword makes the journey nearly three times faster, as the dps any character outputs with the new gear is ridiculously better then the starter equipment.

I think it’s less about making character creation easier, but projecting you quickly to level 20 removes the tidbit of tedium of going through the same motions again and again. Finally finished the norn story with the thing, just zip lined to 20, bought some gear and enjoyed demolishing everything.

Some of you might also think that this scroll might confuse new players or make them skip some content. Well think twice because its award for massive chests and new players dont have 5k points

Honestly, it’s one of those “who cares” issues.

Oh no, something that was pathetically easy is now slightly more so! Oh the horror!

I only brought it up because for Warriors or Elementalists can gain their all of their (non-aquatic) skills in less than 2 minutes. It’s purely because the player is a lvl 20 vs lvl 1 mobs without a adjustment cap.
It would only be a bit longer on the outside in a level caped area where each mob takes more hits to die. My apologies for bringing up something inconsequential.

It’s a legitimate issue mind you. I’m guessing they just forgot to level cap the starting mission zones because, before now, there was no way to be there at any level higher than whatever you acquired in that zone alone.

I’m just saying don’t sweat it, it’s, indeed, not something of much consequence. Particularly when you remember that only “veterans” (i.e.: people with 6k achievement points) will even be able to make use of it at all. More of a small overlook that they should correct eventually, like a slightly out of place texture.
