Expansion-Larger world-Possibly more levels
Get to 80, 100% world, get your DM, start your legendary journey. Plenty of stuff to do.
There’s nothing wrong with taking a break, or to play something else, even another MMO at the side of GW2 when you feel that the content is lacking, or that you are bored. There’s no sub, no wasted money
Building an stable MMO that is meant to last for longer than a year takes time. The current content may not be enough for everyone, but be patient.

At the moment i am only like 42 but what happens when i hit level 80 and i have explored everything am i just going to get bored and move on to a different game,
You won’t have explored everything by level 80. Not even close.
You’re only level 42. Relax, enjoy the game. This is not the time to be worrying about what will happen when you’re 80. And don’t assume you’ll be bored!
I’ve been 80 for a month now and I’m not the least bit bored. Not saying it won’t happen, but right now, not at all.
I have been 80 for at least 4 months now and I’m not bored.
You might feel differently but don’t assume that you will have done everything by the time you hit 80- not by a long shot.
When I hit 80 originally i felt almost overwhelmed by the sheer amount of things in the game I haven’t even touched yet, just take your time and don’t rush- there is no magical door that unlocks once you reach level cap.
Oh and I am sure we will get more regions to play in down the road.
This game could use quite a bit of stuff, but new lands and more levels would be really, really low on my personal list.
This game needs massive fixes on existing content, rather than always focusing on throwing us new shiny things to play with for a month or two. It can’t continue to rely on new content forever, not when so much of the existing content still doesn’t work properly.
Or, summarized: We still have broken skills and traits almost a half year into the game, and you want more of them?
How’d that work out for us so far?
Now let’s try some ideas that will really work.
I wouldn’t say no to new lands, so long as they are as well considered as the Tyrian mainland, and not a small little thing with just as little to offer (Southsun).
New levels… well that’s not even real content. It’s an artificial measure of progression and until we have something new to progress through, there really is no point to even consider adding more levels.

He’s not 80 yet. I don’t think broken traits is in his mind here. But i do agree with you.

ArenaNet stated during the development phase of GW2 that they probably will increase the level cap with expansion, which, at least for me, is the reason why I will never buy an expansion pack and stop playing once the first expansion is released.
To be honest, I haven’t played GW2 since end of November cause of the changes they made back then. Currently I’m reinstalling the game (takes a while with my slow internet connection) to give it a second try.
Occam Pi (Ele), Acaena Elongata (Warrior), Finja Salversdotir (Ranger),
Bytestream (Engineer), Vim Whitespace (Thief)
jumping puzzles world vs world, fractals , dungeons, you still got a lot to explore
by the time you explored everything, and zones, and dungeon grinding here and there, and maybe a bit of wvw or pvp, i assure you, you will check your “/age” and its gonna be over 300, maybe 400, and new content an gear to grind for will have be added already.
i woudlnt worry.
but just enjoying at your own pace.
game doesnt get “better” its cool all the way.
probably more when you are not totally geared yet and have some challenging zones left to do!
