I just watched HoT trailer again and think about what had changed since the expansion was released.

One of them is skill build (i mean the elite ones)
Almost every effective builds have to use the elite traits
I just feel like I was forced to use them. In my opinion I think that it would be good
if we could have choices to use any traits and they are effective and equal
And then we would be able to bravely tell new players or others who are considering to but this game that GW2 is not P2W

It’s just my own opinion and i just wanna let Anet know my feeling when my friends asked me about this if it p2w and i dont know how to answer and debate them when they asked about the elite traits in HoT

This game isn’t F2P. It’s “buy once to play”. The same goes for the expansion.

yeah i know that but my point is that the skills that come with expansion is better than the skills that exist in the game and if new expansion comes out it will be like this again and again. It would not be alternative. I can I am willing to buy more expansions to get more classes but i dont wanna be forced to use the new traits and skills that will come with the new expansions in the future.

Has there ever been an expansion where that was not the case? Whether it is added levels, or added skills, or whatever, if you don’t have all the expansions then you’re missing out on the competitive side of the game.

No ones forcing you to use new skills ans traits. Its your choice weather you want to relevant or vanilla.
