Expansions Needed for Guild Wars 2
I didn’t play GW1 for more than about 10 hours and the nostalgia festival means very, very little to me (and given how many more GW2 players there are than GW1, I have to guess a lot of people are not pining for ‘the old days’).
I’d be interested in Cantha because I enjoy just about any fantasy setting that manages to not be poorly re-enacted feudal Europe, but No. I don’t think its the only way that development can or should go.
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”

This is obviously the first thread I’ve seen on this subject, so yes.
Having just read this post: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/LS-vs-Expansions-And-Is-There-A-Differance/first#post3789640 thank you for the /facepalm.
Kaiji Ruko – 80 Ranger, Revanat Shadowdeath – 80 Necromancer
Um, just because I give slightly less than a skrit’s rump that an expansion be about Elona or Cantha, or the Crystal Desert or any other place we’ve already seen brought back for the sake of nostalgia does not mean I’m opposed to expansion. This post makes one contingent on the other and No, I don’t think that’s necessary or desirable.

Most players want expansions at some point. MMOers are used to expansions and they like them. This doesn’t mean, however, that Anet will make them. They like their living story disposable content, so that may be the expansions here. Company’s going to do what it wants not what players expect.

I know! What a great idea, I was wondering what was missing from GW2, and this thread nailed it! Expansions!! Someone get on the horn to Anet!
It’s a medical condition, they say its terminal….
