There’s been a few times when sweeping all the mats from Orr where an ore vein or sapling gives me 4 or 5 gathers instead of 3, or a sickle gets a second attempt. Is this intentional (by chance), or is it legitimately a bug?

I can guarantee that if it wasnt intended it would have been stealth patched in minutes.
Anet never gives a legitimate gamer a break on anything.

You may also notice that your HP fluctuates. it’s for the same reason… bonuses from your server’s performance in WvW.

Aye I know about those bonuses – I just completely forgot about them!

Probably because a lot of us weren’t getting WvW bonuses for the first 3 months of the game.
