Was it intentional that some exclusive faces in makeover faces combined with some eye colors make the character look like they have cataracts?

Strange! And messing with pupil size after changing doesn’t help? I doubt that is intentional.

I was checking out faces on male human the other day and noticed that at least one of the exclusive faces did have that effect on eyes. There was a face I liked I wanted to change to, but when I saw those cataract eyes, that was a deal breaker. I have not been through all faces to check for this. I might check it out on other races now, as this isn’t something I’d noticed before.

That’s undoubtedly a bug. I can’t imagine it’s intended. You should report it in game with a screenshot so they can fix it.

The effect is too soft to be intentional, IMO. Maybe in an older face…

BTW: I’d love to have “cataracts” as an eye color option!

I kind of like the effect. I gave my asura the scarred face, these ‘cataract’ eyes and the pirate arm. Now it looks like he lost his arm and eye sight trying to keep his head from getting split open during a brutal fight.
Also allows him to play the blind wizard trope.

I rather like this eye option and would be fairly disappointed if it was a “bug.”

It allows me to make my Guardian almost look prophetic

Yeah, I won’t be getting any exclusive faces due to this (I’ve done further checking). Maybe we should have the option of cataract vs non-cataract eyes, lol.

Pretty much the same with my Norn guardian, but more noticeable when I committed the total makeover changes, that I noticed my toon had something akin to “beady” eyes (that wasn’t visible in the preview window); I must have wasted 2 more total makeover kits trying to achieve a look that I like – in the end, I just ended up covering the eye area with dark face paint and giving her darker eyes.

This was about 2 years ago, though. Currently, I am somewhat happy with her appearance, but may eventually try changing her look again.

I believe the look is intentional but is only obvious with some of the exclusive eye colors – particularly the pure white and neon colors. The effect isn’t obvious on normal and dark colors. Nor is this look on all of the exclusive faces.
I would be disappointed is this look wasn’t intentional. I like the mystical /super hero look personally.

some exclusive faces have extra filters for the eyes, but they recently have been dealing with buggy eyes, so it seems propably there are still some bugs left (or new ones happened because of it)
