Guild Wars 2

Here are my Pc specs.
Gigabye GA-880GM-UD2H Motherboard
AMD Phenom™ II X6 1055T Pricessor, 2800 Mhz, 6 Core(s)
SAPPHIRE HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB GDDR5
8G of Ram
Windows 7

If I let gw2 auto detect what graphics I should be it sets everything to pretty much High. Throught my time playing Guild Wars 2 the game stutters. Not a long stutter but it stutters almost every 30 seconds. I can have everything on Low, stutters. Put everything on high stutters. Idk how to fix the problem. I have the latest drivers. Iv unparked 3 of my parked cores so now I have all 6 cores avaliable. Im not aware of why Guild Wars 2 stutters the way it does. If anyone has any resoulution or knows why I may be having these graphic issues. Thanks.

hey , i know how you feel and how frustrating this is , especially in pvp .
This could be caused by many things , ranging from an broken usb port to hdd bad sectors .

Try this first : to go to you video driver , advanced settings and enable : Triple Buffering

Actually I’ve always seen similar problems . I can be consistantly be 30 FPS on my laptop, but it dips below 20 fairly regularly.

The game as a whole has performance issues. I wish they would improve this together with the release of the expansion

I have the same Graphic Card(Sapphire 7770 GHz edition), the same Ram, and Windows 7. It’s definitely not that. Hope that helps.

This is better suited for the tech section of the forums. We can’t give you much other than check your drivers and hardware to make sure a driver isn’t in conflict with other programs or that you don’t have a failing component.
