Dawn Of The Sacred Knights [DAWN]
Got to give Anet some positive feedback on this patch especially is recent efforts to optimization. Well done, I used to typically get 30-40 fps in LA now I cap at a steady 60.
I understand others having issues and what not but wanted to atleast provide some positive feedback, just glad to see Anet is getting on the right track with optimizations now and hopefully they iron out the issues some players have but on my end, huge difference!
Keep up the good work

I didn’t really notice it.

Getting 45fps looking at the LA forge from afar.
Haven’t noticed much change but I’ll reserve judgement till WvW S3 to see how much their changes have improved things.
There’s been a lot of optimization in this game over time. My computer used to struggle when lots of things were on the screen. I really haven’t had many problems in a long time as long as I keep my video settings really low. I used to have serious problems with world bosses and WvWvW mode. But, world bosses haven’t given me much trouble in a long time, and I don’t really notice much slowdown in WvWvW unless I’m near a particularly large group of players.
LMAO! In my testing of the new leveling stuff, I never even checked. My frame rate has gone up significantly. Thanks for pointing this out.
I noticed HP 110-194 computer, with 8GB RAM.
This is where all the work probably went.
getting better service this weekend…am excited to reap these benefits.
I’ve noticed the opposite. I have NEVER dropped below 30FPS anywhere in the game before except in really really heavy WvW.
I walked into the volcano cauldron yesterday after the patch and was getting 15FPS in a place that before I would normally get at least 60. This is on a GTX680 and i5-2500K computer that should by no means having issues running this game.

I’m in the same boat with you. My performance has had more stutters and lags than I can remember since the patch and strangely in remote explorable areas devoid of meta-events, where you wouldn’t expect to see it. Do I really need more than a 6 core processor at 4.5 GHz and an OC’d 680? Must be all the mini’s… in my wardrobe.
Sigh. Unfortunately quiet opposite here as well, just finished Teq. In less populated or empty areas performance might have gone up, hard to tell, but in more populated, or in problem ones like Southsun and during large scale events like Karka and Teq performance is much worse for me now, not only due to overall lower FPS but also due to insane amount of stuttering, like 24/7. I can only hope this is fixable and they will fix it, otherwise it makes the experience very unpleasant, nigh unplayable.
My FPS is lower since the patch. I have a constant stuttering when 10 or more ppl are on the screen. Never had this problem before the patch.
I have also observed that there is much more stuttering. Could be due to a more aggressive caching style combined with a lack of ram.
