Guild Wars 2

This isn`t a technical problem, but if it should be on that section, please move it.

Is just that im wondering, since this game has FXAA incorported and i have for many many games that use this a lot of “FXAA Palettes or filters” to change colours or ilumination etc, i was wondering if for GW2 is something like that.

I feel the game is way too “shiny” (for skirtts pleasure) but not for me, i like more “darkish” colours and eviroment, and playing with the gamma just dont cut it.

There is something like this? there will be? do you guys would like something like this?

You should google SweetFX, the HDR filter should give you a darker feel

This is the HDR rendering, not the FXAA. HDR adds a lot of depth to a scene, but it’s also starting to get a bit overused and tiring. Kind of like how you get to stare at stupid, pointless blue lens flare effects for 2 hours non-stop in every J.J. Abrams film.

It would be nice if someday games started to include an HDR intensity slider to go along with the gamma adjustments. Still it looks a lot better with it than without.
