So, it’s prolly been brought up atleast once before, and i’m not sure it’s the right place to post this, but what is the deal with locking some of these guys behind the metas? All 5 in Verdant Brink ar available at all times.

The one in the skritt camp in Auric Basin is the same, but then comes north and south, they are only available after you do the first 2 events, fine, but they get locked when challenges start. This results in them being unavailable for about 1 hour of the 2 hour meta cycle, and that sucks when you just want your already annoying tokens.

Rata Novus and SCAR lane in Tangled Depths are also locked behind the first 2 events, but they stay available even during the meta, and only reset after you either succeed or fail.

So, to sum it up, please, atleast do something about the North and South camps in Auric Basin.

They already did. It’s stupidly easy to get these now.

I would rather they revert them back to how they were so people actually have to work for something in this game instead of having it handed to them.

Yeah. For 10/12 of them you can just go to a WP and they’re right there.

The issue is no longer reaching them — it’s needing to have all the items stacked up on the right character and ready to trade and then going through them all until you’ve collected enough items.

Still, if ANet works at it, I’m sure they could invent some mechanics that would cause burnout among their players more quickly.

I bought up all the mats and have them sitting on a character taking up about 20ish slots. I have enough inscriptions and weapon parts made to get me the number of tokens i would need to buy the six gifts.

Each day I craft the weapons and visit each vendor. It takes about 2 min to craft the weapons and about 3 minutes to cycle through all of the WP’s. There are no issues with how they are now.

So none of you guys have experienced having to wait out the tarir meta to get the north and south camp provisioners active? Seems awfully odd.

Wait out the meta?
Are you stood around waiting for the meta to finish?
Sounds like a question of timing, if they’re not there then do the meta, kill some time, get some rewards, have some fun and then they’re back.
