So I’ve just started farming these for that new sword and I cant help but notice 2 things. first is that they dont stack unless its from the same mob. boar stacks with boar, spider with spider. dont know if it should count as a bug or not, just seems like a little thing they could/should easily fix.
Second is the fact that there are two different kinds of backpacks, one with white text the other with orange. The wiki lists just one kind so whats up with that? do they both have a chance to drop the sword or does it come from only one, i’d assume the orange one if thats the case.
anyone have any insight on this?

*also just noticed white is Fallen Adventurer’s Backpack while orange is Fallen Adventurer’s Backpacks, note the S at the end of the orange ones, but there is no backpacks on the wiki.

#confused.

Orange and white are ofcourse indicators of item quality. Presumably the exotic ones would give better drops. ive no hard evidence for this though, not tested it.

As for not stacking when from different creature types it’d probably be a result of them actually being different items to one another just with the same visible name.

I would like some clarification on this too.

While farming champions in Frostgorge Sound, every champion drop their own bag, no matter it shares same name or not, they do not stack unless its from the same champion.

Meaning while my lower level alt was following zerg in the Crown Pavilion for leveling, at different level range I will get bags of different quality. (White → Blue → Green → Rare → Exotic)

I have gotten the new champion skin [Stardust] from green quality champion bag off the centaur boss, it would seems the chance of getting a new skin is shared for same champion’s bag.

It would seem different rarity bags from champions/legendary have share drop rate for new champion weapon skins and different champion bags have their own loot table?

So if I am going after Genesis I should only farm one champion for its bag since other champion’s bag are unlikely to drop it?

The icebrood norn’s drop and the icebrood kodan’s drop in frostgorge had no problem stacking for me. It also stacks with the drop from the champion wolfmaster in wayfarers.

As for the Fallen Adventurer’s Backpack there are actually 56 different ones.
Broken down by rarity
Basic 8
Fine 9
Masterwork 11
Rare 12
Exotic 16
