What? I know pretty kitten well what I will discover when I log in. Same boring events, looping over and over again, bugged as hell too, for months now.

From the searing heat of Sorrow’s Embrace to the grandiose halls of Caudecus’s Manor to the haunted depths of the Ascalonian Catacombs, dungeons in Guild Wars 2 come in many different forms.
Many different forms of spamming buttons. With low or nonexistent chance of failure. Mechanics of bosses is tragic in majority of cases. They attack, hurl kitten at you, cast spells, summon minions, etc. Attack, dodge, attack, dodge, heal if you get hit. Rinse and repeat. I truly liked absence of holy trinity. But in practice, this turned out to be the main reason PvE content is unimaginative as it is.
There are no quests in GW2.
WHAT? All you did there is removing quest givers and adding them all over the map. Yea, no kill quests, no fetch quests, no escort quests ha? COME ON! Its exactly the same thing, you just placed some hearts on the map, so we can go there and was some cows, for crying out loud.
And some game breaking issues:
- No status immunity after first, second or even third application. If you fight 3 simple pigs, they can chain knockdown you till end of days. And sometimes, you just can’t dodge.
- Mobs have better status effects on their attacks than most player classes do.
- Bad, bad, bad level scaling. I can destroy mobs same or 1 level higher. But 2-3 levels higher mobs are like ramming your head against a brick wall.
- Gear is too limiting and everything is gear dependent. If you want to survive, you will have no damage and vice versa. This is simply bad design.
- Down leveling is the most artificial way to add extra content I have seen in 15 years of mmos.
- Empty servers. And don’t tell me everyone is leveled up and in higher level zones. That only means there is no constant influx of players, which means this game will get forgotten before the year ends.
- Low number of skills and skill combination, weapon based skills get extremely boring after a short while.
- Loot.
- No direct trade. Not that i have someone to trade with, but still.
- No LFG option. See above.
- No endgame.
- No build diversity, 90% of people will run with the exact same build/weapon combo. Not because it’s the meta game, not because its best, but because its only viable build.
- Bad class balance. When you look at PvE. Warrior and guardian can simply aoe the crap out of anything with basic attacks. And steamroll through content. Thief on the other hand has no aoe, and no survivability. Just an example. And I am taling about early-mod game here. Which shouldn’t be a pain in the kitten
- Bad zone design. Sometimes you MUST go to the other same level zone just so you can grab that extra level or 2 that prevent you from completing zone you have started.
- No distinction between regular and veteran mobs, talking about mob packs here. Which can mean swift death without any previous notice.
- Gear you buy from karma merchants while zoning is simply ridiculous. Who in the right mind would want mix of all possible stats on their gear?
So, all you fanboys can keep lying to yourselves how this game is awesome. This game is broken, simplistic, and below average, it only looks pretty.
