Developers, do not be swayed by the Fan-Boyz that are telling you that FOM is a great addition to the game, and that there is nothing wrong with it.

FOM is a cancer that could spread throughout GW2 until every aspect of the original GW2 game design is corrupted and destroyed.

The folks that came to GW2 did NOT come to GW2 to play ‘World of Warcraft’ style Heroics and Raids.

Fan-Boyz killed ‘Star Wars The Old Republic’ by giving the developers a false sense of security in their decisions. SWTOR has lost 90% of its players.

Listen to the player base that is NOT happy with what you have done. Look at your original design concepts and see how far off the mark you are. Take FOM off line and restore GW2 to it’s original design.

And there’s nothing wrong with the FotM dungeons, as such. It’s more a case that this may end up turning into a gear treadmill with the Ascended gear.

Why does this sound like the tag line to the mixtape of a really, really bad boy band?

I do agree that there are some fans out there that are relentlessly positive and seemingly incapable of finding a single flaw with the game. However, the opposite isn’t helpful either. For feedback to be constructive it needs to be specific and not hyperbolic. What are the devs supposed to do with feedback that “FOM is a cancer”? What does that tell them?

Do you believe devs really consider what ppl say on forums?

Anyway. You aren’t any better. I like FOM, so I’m a fanboy? If so, then you are hater. Is it hard, to understand your opinions isn’t the only valid one?

I like GW2 much more than GW1. It’s my opinion and I have right to it.

So beacause there are a few threads complaining about FOM, it obviously means that the majority of players dislike it? Most of the threads are to complain about the bugs and issues inside, not the content itself. You should also realise that people who don’t like the content are more likely than those who do, it’s easier to complain than praise.

I’m not really even sure what FOM stands for, but the amount of whining on these forums is hysterical.

Realy? I’m a fan boy, I played GW 1, yes, we now got some items between exotic and legendary, I hope it wont go further, I think they got it, if not I won’t cry on forums how horrible it is (as I said manytimes, its realy stupid idea to cry on forums) and I leave the game if I won’t like it for a game I do like.

Listening to those who think something is wrong? You mean mostly WoW fans who are angry that GW 2 is not like WoW? Or you mean listening to people who say PvP is unbalanced while I heard many PvPers said that GW 2 has one of the best PvP balance in MMOs? No thanks. Anet should have some goal where they want to go with theirs game. Thats it, I hope they’ll make changes with balance, with skills, buggs etc. but I also hope they wont listen to whiners and will go where they intend to go. It will be good game or not, we don’t know, but unless they try and unless we give them a chance, they can’t show us, if its gona be a good or a bad game.

Its just few months after release, just sit down, play a game (if you like, if not don’t play – yea, simple as that), enjoy and wait what is going to happen.
