If Chauncey von Snuffles III is the runner up to the fanciest cat contest, then who actually won the contest?

Searching the forums and the internet doesn’t yield a lot of information.

So did they just decide not to use any of that dialogue? It seems silly keeping Chauncey in the game but not having any real official story behind him.

I’m assuming there is no pictures of this Lady Wisteria Whiskington either?

I’m more wondering how he even got second place. He scares the kitten outa me.

Well, it wasn’t a cuteness or a creepiness contest lol. It was fanciest cat. He may be a bit creepy to some, but he is pretty kitten fancy too.

Chauncey remains in the game because it is an immutable fact of the universe that The Internet Loves Cats.

Also, it makes for a pretty hilarious backstory as to why Lord Faren was in Southsun.

Fanciest cat competition is reserved for future Fractals of the Mist event. With possible Chauncey evil transformation into final boss who purrs agony into your heart.

Personally, I side with the belief that somebody pressured Faren (not hard, it seems…) into declaring the other cat the winner.
