So after the expac struck and they nerf everything was worth im extreme dissapointed about pushing you to buy the expac.So lets start a bit
Dungeons are dead=mean peps wont do them what so ever) well the f2p players wont have a chance to do nothing because peps wont run dungeons for 50silvers
Fractals almost the same as dungeons=i was doing my daily scales as allways but now the gold i get is 0 and the crap i get is more hight).I speak with a friend of my and he told me i need mastery’s to get something worth) funny yea ? well no because the crap you get is asking you to pay to open it,the salvage kits are expensive,because we dont get that gold what we got long time ago when we complet 4 fractals
Raids=1per week and the rest of the week ? from where i get my rest of gold ?)+im extreme curious about the gold we get
So so far ty anet for pushing all of us to buy the expac and to have nothing to do in the old content.

I have been playing for 3 yrs, since Beta, and I have yet to run out of things to do to get gold. I have so much gold I am not sure what I want to do with it. I have only done the story part on 2 dungeons, haven’t bothered with the others yet. I just keep playing the game in what ever area I want and the gold just comes with the fun.

Stack gold without spending that not mean you have :P.Everything you see will become more expensive,was around 43g doing all dungeons in an av of 2:30-3:20h of farming with experienced peps so was a thing now is not,50 silvers on doing them is like you run the dungeon for nothing and i dont do mindless SW farm

i was wondering this too, im starting to get low on g for the countless of waypointing around for the legendary journey, and knowing that i will have to spend a lot more to actually craft it

the “easy” casual way before was to simple do the fast path dungeons, you could do like 10g in a little around a hour

whats the casual way now to farm g that doesnt involve trying to find an event train in SW?

You can still earn dungeon tokens in certain PvP tracks so you aren’t missing too much other than an achievement.

I have been thinking about a thing now after the expac released an prices for new stuff and some other stuff started to be high.

If gold is easy to earn then prices on TP will probably increase, if gold is hard to earn Prices will lower. Or a really big player base is throwing in lots of real money for Gems to get gold… But then Gems would pretty cheap for gold then? anyway… I think that when the amount of money but in to the game increases so will the prices becouse more players will afford the high prices on TP but let’s say they nerf gold everywere… Then almost no one will buy the stuff and some or maby lots of sellers will rather put the stuff on TP for a lower price to be sure that people buy their stuff. Then sellers that a set that they will get their 300000000g worth object will end up wait a year until they give up and finally sell it for the “new” market value.

Find another place to farm your gold, if Dungeons was the best place then I bet the value of stuff you need gold for will go down.

Now I am a player who loathe farming and grinding so I am not affected by this, but it would be nice if market value actually lowered to a level so that players who enjoy every part of the game can afford the real expesive stuff.

That’s what I beleave.

But the gold from the exchange was once in the game, it’s just sequestered until it’s bought. When that happens we should see the exchange rate drop.

You should calm down and try to understand how they work first. I don’t have numbers for the drop yet to give, but for the salvaging you are completely wrong.

Each gold you spend in salvage kit, will return you enough matrices to buy for more than 2 gold in Encryption Keys (not counting the relics you save).

You don’t need mastery to get something worth. The only reward mastery give you is a second recommended daily to get Page faster for the Legendary Back Item. Even if you have zero mastery in fractal you can still do your 3 dailys (1-20 / 21-50 / 51-100) and 1 or the 2 recommended daily. So you are wrong again there.

The only point I still need to get a good picture of is the total rewards. They are all over the place, drops, boxes and daily. So it’s hard to get a good view how much worth it is.

You need mastery to be able to trade matrices for keys.

How many Stabilizing Matrices do you get for salvaging rings? I’m not sure if I remember correctly, and I can’t check because the mastery merchant is disabled, but I thought a single Matrix bought no more than 2 keys, which is 40 silver’s worth of keys. You’d need to get 5+ matrices per ring to get 2 gold’s worth of keys from a 1 gold salvage.

So i dont know what people farm now,until raids,i will buy the expac because well im boored and i start to trow to much money
