Could you guys remove the bandit keys/bandit crests from the silky sand table loot? Those 2 things are impressively easy to get, in other hand, geodes and lost keys for buried chests are a really hard task to get.

So, please, can you make those 2 things separatadely? I’m farming DRY TOP, not SILVERWASTES, it is really annoying that I keep getting more and more crests and bandit keys, instead of my geodes and lost keys.

Thanks for your attention.

I have the exact opposite problem… stupid sand keeps giving me dry top crap that I don’t want… I’ve gotten 2 stacks of geodes and 50 of those keys… if I wanted to be in dry top i’d be in dry top…

Disagreed. I’m happy that I can farm Silverwastes and still work slowly on my ambrite collection from another zone.

We dont know if we won`t be “boomeranging” back to Dry Top during the LS there are tons of skritt holes there. That might be one reason they didn`t apply seperate loot tables.

Boxie Togg (main)… probably Tyrias only Asuran Mesmer that ultimately fails at jumping puzzles
Stinky McLane… the only Necro known to have a toothpaste fetish
Lefty (give me a second) Fiddlesticks… one Engineer, two clumbsy hands…

Oooh, I would love it if some of these Skrit Holes became portals from one zone to the other to connect Silverwaste and Dry Top. Doubtful in my mind, but I can hope!

It’s better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

It seems that the main point is to receive Dry Top items from Dry Top drops and Silverwastes items from Silverwastes drops. I agree with this and I think it is a mistake to have silky sand drop in both areas and give both types of drops. If I want to farm one area I want to get the items for that area.

From one zone to the other is highly unlikely, but the skritt holes in Dry Top could conceivably factor into the Living Story somehow in other ways.

I also wish the silverwastes had its own sand, maybe “coarse sand.” The chance of zephyrite lockpicks in silky sand was low enough without adding bandit keys and crests to the loot table!

I’m not sure Bandit Keys and Bandit Crests replaced anything in the Silky Sand loot table, as I seem to get more loot (from either/or zone) from Silky Sand now, than ever before.

I would guess they were added to the loot table, rather than replaced anything. Still, it’s just my guess.

Edit: Perusing the drop tables for Silky Sand, before and after the introduction of Silverwastes, indicates that Geodes and Lockpicks are now more plentiful than before. Thus, I’m pretty sure Bandit items did not replace anything. Yay for us!

Considering that i don’t seem to be getting any less geodes and lockpicks from sand, i see no problem. If you don’t want crests and keys, just delete them, it will have exactly the same effect as you desire.

Well, as noted above, Bandit Crests don’t replace anything. Just delete them if you don’t want to use them.

Good luck.

Since I’m getting far more bandit crest/keys, I really would says that they replace somehow.

You can look up the drop rates to see you are mistaken, if you so desire. You are just getting more items overall.

Regardless, good luck on your suggestion. =)
