Newbie, here.
I’ve been hearing a lot about it (completing events, getting bandit skeleton keys, finding chests, and which items to sell/salvage, etc…) but as far as understanding the whole order of it all and how to properly farm The Silverwastes, I’m still a bit clueless.

Would any of the pros out there care to guide me through the process with specifics? It’d be greatly appreciated on my part.

PS: How much gold have you guys made in a single hour of SW farming?

1. Look for maps that are 50-70%
2. Once in map, go to each fortress that`s under attack, kill few mobs and move to the next one to get more bonus chests.
3. Finish the map (VW boss)
4. Go to labirynth and pick little chests (can open big one if you feel like spending your nightmare keys) or search for another map.
5. Once you have enaugh keys (let`s say 200+) join a chest farm map and follow commander. (Verryyy dulll)
6. Open bags, salvage all greens and blues, sell rares/exo and all mats you dont need.

All the time combined i`d say 10-20g / h depending on your RNG while opening champ bags

Pretty much what Critical Lag said. Defend forts, do breach then VW. Afterwards, run labyrinth, follow champ train or chest farm. If there’s no commander leading a train on your map, look in the LFG or hop onto another VW map.

I opened 1k coin purses and 418 seed pouches and made about 70g from the silver dropped and vendoring the greens, not counting mats because I don’t sell them. The drops were kind of disappointing overall. I only got a handful of rares and 6 exotics worth 1g each. Not sure about the gold per hour…It took me about a week to accumulate that many champ bags.

almost all he said was correct, but get an alt to level 50-53, open the bags on THAT character, and salvage. The tier 3-4 mats (like linen) go for a good mount of gold on tp.

I prefer to use my shovels/keys in the middle of defenses.

Sure it’s not as many chests as a chest farm, but its better than separating the two profits. I only join chest farms if I’m having a lengthy chat with someone external to what I’m doing in SW and cannot focus.
