Faster way spirit shard to gold?
How do you convert spirit shards to gold at all? Just crafting mystic forge weapons?

Currently 1 spirit shard is worth around 1g (3g if very rich), but requires a lot of trading post. Will Heart of thorns bring faster way consume my 1 0 0 0 spirit shard bank? I dont feel like speding 100h for spirit shard convertion into gold.
You do realize that the time investment as much of the value, if not more, than the spirit shard investment, right? The easier it is, the less profit you will see.

As for an actual answer: we don’t know. We’ve received no specific information on what new items we can craft with them, let alone what values players will give them in the economy. There is no possible way to know this until HoT goes live and these new items hit the market.

Did you understand my post? I admit, I accidentally left a word out of the first sentence (“The time investment is as much, of the value as the shard investment”), but I thought it was pretty clear. What you’re saying, though, is that you’d rather spend one hour and get 10G out of your 1,000 spirit shards than 100 hours to get 1,000G out of the same 1,000 spirit shards, which doesn’t really make a ton of sense.
Anyway, it’s highly unlikely that ANet will make currency conversion easier.
Here is suggestion to fast consume milions of spirit shards within a minute. Make it possible to que a recipe any number of times. Just like in crafting. It would be amazing and second most favorite feature in hot.

and since everyone will be able to do it the profit you get will be 1% of what you get now im all for it got roughly 4k shards i need to blow.

You might have missed the reasoning:
- Since shard→gold is time consuming, there’s a lot of per-shard profit in it.
- If it were faster, then more people would do it, driving down the profit.
So, if there’s a QoL change in HoT making the process faster, you should expect to earn less money from those same shards you are saving.
For that reason (and other economic issues), it’s very likely that ANet is satisfied with how long the process is.

This assumes (particularly for the high value items) that you can actually sell at the quoted prices – remember these prices are set by sellers and are not always indicative of what buyers will actually pay.
In order to reliably make a profit from anything on this chart you need to find the lower buy price and use that after factoring in TP costs.
