Fastest way to gain gold in this game is investment.
This game’s economy is exactly like stock market. Make the correct prediction of stacking certain items, and you’ll get filthy rich in seconds.
But high risk high reward. You could have invest in things that’re not profitable at all in the future, so you have to bear the risk and move on.
Being filthy rich in this game is not easy, but not so hard either. One of my friends play around TP all the time because he invests in those BL ticket skins all the time.

He wasnt asking for the fastest way but a faster way than 20g in 2 weeks. Sure you can get rich off the TP but its boring as hell. I wouldnt recommend it unless thats what you like to do. Getting into a 80% silverwaste map is also another good way to make gold. Do the Breach event and kill Vinewrath and you get a ton of loot.

Gathering booster + Unlimited use gathering tools + everything speed = free money. I can make 3 gold in just 45 minutes in Gendarrin (sp??) Hills just off the Soft Wood Logs and Iron Ore, and there are even more profitable places in the world but I’m not telling.

Trading post and investments
Dungeon speedclears
Silverwastes chest farming / breach hopping
World boss train
Probably some more I missed
As an example, once you’re good at dungeons or Silverwastes farming, 10 gold per hour isn’t unusual.
If you have a lot of karma, you can convert it into linen for a quick profit. Same thing works with laurels and T6 mat bags.
In this order:

Convert karma into Linen is not ideal for me if they don’t implant a system that you can use Mystic Forge to craft multiple items at once…
It’s incredibly boring and tiresome, yet it takes lots of time.
I personally have around 6mils karma to burn right now. (Already burned 5 mils on other stuffs.)

Magic find affects track boxes and a good team can end a match in about five – seven minutes, which is about the same time it takes to speedrun dungeons.
MF affected dungeon bags.

I do agree it’s extremely tedious and not something I like doing all the time. You do get around 30 gold per hour from it though.
