I strongly dislike WvW whats another fast way to get these mats?

you can get quite a bit if you’re on a server who has the ability to night cap other servers and flip stuff repeatedly

Do they drop on subsequent runs through dungeon, or only on first?

I got 54 empyreal fragments in about 2 hours of WvW last night.

Open world bosses, temple bosses, WvW keeps, and castles now drop Dragonite Ore in addition to their regular loot, which can only be earned once per day per location

Dungeons, minidungeons, jumping puzzles, WvW camps, and towers now drop Empyreal Fragments in addition to their regular loot, which can only be earned once per day per location.

Players can only receive rewards from dig spots and the reward chests found at the end of each zone once per account per day.

That’s a lot of available chests per day though…

buy them with real cash

The dragonite isn’t too bad if you do the daily world bosses it seems. Still gathering enough of that for one ascended weapon is likely to take a couple weeks if that’s the only way you farm it.

It’s the Empyreal Shards that’s driving me a bit nuts right now. I don’t really run dungeons, so I thought I might bee able to get a decent amount going around jumping puzzle. But so far it’s only a handful per chest. It’s going to take me a long while to get 500 of them…

Do WvW for the shards

I do world bosses for dragonite and jumping puzzles for empyreal. Pretty easy to get. I can get 50-75 of each mat in 2 hours. And I’m not including all the loot I’m getting. Quite worth the time!

World dragons and temple events in Cursed Shore/Malchor’s Leap give more than enough Dragonite. Follow the timers at gw2stuff.com

For Empyreal Fragments; Ascalonian Catacombs and Citadel of Flame explorer mode are the fastest.

For those that don’t like jumping puzzles or dungeons, you can also get 2-4 Empyreal from most of these basic chest sitting around in open world. (yes, some of them are tied to jumping puzzles, but a lot are not)

You can also do these on multiple characters. (if they are level 80)

Demongrub Pits 3 chests 1 lootbag, look for small passages for 2 of the chests, first is in the spider webs (jumping puzzle, but it’s really, really easy)

Beggar’s Burrow Enter cave from behind grave yard, Near the bottom of cave, fight a Veteran Bandit.

Hirathi Hinterlands

Ruins of Holy Demetra Northwest of Matyr’s Tomb Point of Interest

Fireheat Rise

Apostate Wastes southwest corner, guarded by harpies
Rebel’s Seclusion Guarded by a Veteran Ascalonian Enchanter. (This is actually a splendid chest) <— There is also one not on the list that you will pass when going to this one.
Most of the chest on that list probably contain Empyreal , but the ones above are just the ones I have managed to open so far.

You get 20 every run. No matter how many times you have done it. Every 5 runs you can make a star which is about half a crafting level as well. So its not a bad way of cheap leveling.

Thanks for the info ill be doing dungeons, jumping puzzles and world events for my mats, I recommend using gw2stuff for finding where all the groups of players are
