Heya guys Shichi here sitting with an very bothersome problem which I think many are encountering.

The 200 Skillpoint item for the Legendary which is pretty much the only thing I still need buuuut since I had terrible terrible luck with Clovers I hardly got any Skillpoints left.

Now grinding few days in Astral and buying the Skillpoint item for 35 Fracs and doing some CoF occasionally for EXP until after the 3rd run where the EXP gets cut in half.

I was wondering do you guys know any faster way to earn Levels/Skillpoints?

No, you’re pretty much doing it the best way.

Consider also running some other easy dungeon paths. HotW path 1 is pretty easy to do and is pretty fast, and I believe Sorrow’s Embrace has an easy path (can’t remember which one it is, though).

So it really is Dungeon grinding till Reward EXP halves and doing fractals now and then…. Tjeez….

Go on an 80 alt and just run around all the maps and only gather the skill points. Could get all of them in a day if you really wanted. I believe the Bloodstone Shard is account bound also. This is what I did for my legendaries.

Im pretty sure every item from the skillpoint merchant is soulbound not accountbound

The Gift of Mastery is account bound though so you can make the gift on a ault and pass that.

WVW gives good xp if you can get a good run of capping towers/camps.

Also, Southson has a lot of events running back to back, so another good place to get xp. Also if you can get your hands on an xp booster from a BL chest, that will help

Since you are working on clovers..I did them on my alt so I didn’t waste any of the 200 skill points I need for the blood shard. USE YOUR ALTS FOR CLOVERS! I got at least 40 on my ranger I never use and still have my SP on my warrior/mesmer. To get a lot of skills points I just ran CoF1 a lot and did the usual dungeon runs, fractals doesn’t give that much xp, I wouldn’t recommend that.

Lot of good advice here…but I think the best is using an alt to roam the maps and gather the skill points. Most of them are very easy to get, and that would go far faster than trying to get 200 from leveling.

It doesn’t matter which alt gets the Bloodstone Shard…because it doesn’t matter which gets the Legendary weapon. It is not soulbound until equipped so any alt can get it….

I too have had unbelievably bad luck with clovers…throwing your stuff in the Mystic Toilet can drain you of supplies really fast.

if you after skill points the fastest way i know (and use) is the fractals. you can buy them for about 30 something fractal coins, which at higher levels you get about 200 fractal coins a day. pretty much how i do the daily laurels X-D

You get more fractals at higher lvls? How much more u get compared to say lvl10?

Doing, events is another option to. Put on about 70 skillpoints over a couple of days with killstreak boosts/xp boost.

Otherwise, fractals are about the best way and enjoy the horrible loot. When I was grinding I did a 26/36 each day. with a decent group and luck on the rolls 40-60mins per is pretty easy.

I used an alt for one of my shards as well. Picked a thief for decent speed and stealth communing when I didn’t feel like fighting.

Another option, while painful if you have the money, level crafting if you haven’t. I did no crafting on my first 80 so I just leveld some of the cheaper ones up for a quick 30 skillpoints as well.

Running events in Orr used to be a really great way of getting lvl’s. Trying grinding out some events in South Sun. Run XP boosts.

bloodstone shard is soulbound, but the gift of mastery and all the other ingredients for it are account bound, so just craft it on the alt you got the shard with

this is what I did, ran my second 80 through all the skill points on the map
