So what is your favorite BL weapon skin currently?

My favorite is the Dwayna weapon skins.

Their design are just beautiful and a lot of details looked like it was put into these weapons to make them to shine like Dwayna.

Chaos Axe and Tormented Shield since 2006.

Shadow weapons for my necromancer, all the animations, specially the staff where the sythe blade appears whenever you cast, just fit together so naturally.

Followed by the Phoenix skins, the mad scientist.

Mine is the Tempest skins. I use the daggers on my ele as they look like weapons made out of wind, thematically nice for an elementalist.

Dreamthistle, Balthazar’s and Tempest sets.

Dreamthistle and Tempest all the way

1 – Fused
2 – Shadow
3 – Scientific
4 – Jade Dragon
5 – Wintersday

I really want so many fused skins, but I am not paying those prices for them.

Gallant is my all time favourite, followed by Chaos. Daydreamer weapons are also really pretty, too bad I didn’t play during the month they were available. I also like the Dwayna and Balthazar sets.

Many sets have some really nice weapons in them, though I’m generally not a fan of the really gaudy stuff.

i like most of them but can’t get any of them, ain’t that a bugger…..

The Tormented and Dragon’s Jade weapon sets are my favorites, but I also really love the pistol and hammer from the Aetherblade set.

Gallant and dwayna are great since every other “good” skin in this game is overloaded with too many effects. But if I had to pick one with effects it would either be fused (if only they would come back so I could afford one!) or tempest.

The Dwayna set by a long shot, the sword and shield in particular are the best looking weapons in the game IMO. They’re both practical but also fancily designed. Built my Rev’s color scheme around them.

fused would be my overall favourite set,
but of all the skins i’d say Phoenix Hammer that thing is HUGE

The only ets that didn’t suck were the earlier ones aetherized, dreamthistle and fused. It has been all down hill since then

I really love the color scheme you picked out ^_^ Was the gold part flare, golden lion, or another shade?

I wouldn’t say down hill completely since Dwayna set are a nice addition to the BL weapon sets in a while.

The Dwayna weapon skins has that Hall of Heroes feel to them which is something I would have loved to see back in GW1 with HoH themed weapons.

However, I don’t quite fancy the rifle and pistol look for Dwayna weapons. I feel they could have put a little bit more effort into the rifle and pistol dwayna designs.

The Dwayna Shield is the most interesting in the Dwayna weapons.

I would have gotten the sword but since my main character is a Engineer I went with the Dwayna Hammer due to the Forge in HoT and I don’t quite like the Forge Elite Spec Weapon skin being a giant wrench.

• Pact Fleet Weapon Set (especially the greatsword, sword and bows)

I personally feel that the Pact Fleet weapon set was the most well-designed to date. I feel that the animation, textures, color scheme, lighting effects and overall design in general for the entire set was done really well. I only managed to pick up about 5 of the different weapons at the time, sadly. I really hope to see more sets of similar design quality in future sets.

I really love the color scheme you picked out Was the gold part flare, golden lion, or another shade?

Butter actually, though I forgot about golden lion so may try that. Keep in mind also I’m using GemFX, so my shades of colors look different then they will for you.

Daydreamer, I didn’t like Gallant as much as I wanted to, they just seem too dull. I don’t mean uninteresting, but for example; the shield, which has like no shine on it and looks like something that drops in PVE from a karma vendor
