Favorite Party Composition

Some other players that are award of each other, try to work together as good as possible, and are maybe a little bit talkative in between when everything else is boring. Race, class, profession and so on are quite negligible in my opinion…
Shout Warrior
Support Guardian

Frenzy Berserker Warrior ( me )

We recently discovers necromancers and engineers make for extremely effective companions.
Our oddest but most successful party – Engineer (turret heavy), Necromancer (well heavy), Mesmer, Thief, Support Heavy Guardian.
failure is still a monumental success, assuming
losses remain within acceptable parameters.
Any engineer that doesn’t use turrets.
Because they’re awful.
4 necros with epidemic and a burn engi.
As long as the players have a good attitude and are willing to treat our adventuring as fun rather than some kind of second job or DPS race, we’ll get along fine in a party. I don’t really care what they’re specifically playing.
I don’t know if I’d call it my favorite sort of group, but I did AC (all paths) with myself (as a S/D necro), a thief and three rangers, all using longbows. I’m pretty sure I was the defacto tank in that group, because everything would chase me or the thief around while the rangers barraged things to death.
Think my favorite group setup has been me as my elementalist, a mesmer, a guardian and two warriors. I was able to pretty much blast at will and get out of harm’s way before either somebody in plate or a clone picked up what was hitting me.

^Same here.
Proud member of the Blackgate community.
Any group that doesnt complain when you dont res them in a subject alpha fight while your trying to dodge aoe is a good group in my book
5 players who don’t suck and/or have a sense of humour (Because sucking doesn’t suck when everyone can laugh about it and dust themselves off again)

This “composition” gets my vote as well.
I’m for the fun group even if it dies a lot every time!

The people saying they like seeing an engineer in the party warms my heart.
For my part, having a warrior or guardian in the party to take advantage of all the vulnerability I’m piling on is a welcome sight. But, as others have said, any party is gonna kinda stink if it’s full of bad attitudes.
