Guild Wars 2

Just very recently, I went to Scavenger’s Chasm for the first time. Love at first sight! :-) To me, it’s one of the most beautiful places in Tyria. Tranquil, relaxing, mind-expanding. Could go there every day for meditation.

The Falls and Lyssa’s Ice Cave.

Hopefully we’ll get to see The Falls again next month.

I apologize for being really spoiler-y to anyone who sees this post and hasn’t done LS Season 2… but my all time favorite place I’ve been in Guild Wars 2 is most certainly Glint’s Lair.

I don’t even know how long I just stood around and stared at everything. I thought I had more screenshots, but I think I have them saved elsewhere and can’t find them right now.

PS: If you missed Living Story Season 2 and aren’t sure about buying it, I’d buy it just to see this place. Because wow.

Agree on Glint’s Lair, one of mine as well. :-) Its just gorgeous design! … as I haven’t reached the Magus Falls in GW1 yet (playing through Prophecies first time right now, to get some historical perspective ;-) ), I’d love to see this place as well. ^^

My favourite places include the little forest area at the bottom of the grove that can be accessed through a water tunnel, Labrynthine cliffs in general when that was a map, Dry top (uplands + oasis) and new LA looks very nice as well.
The starter area in wayfarer foothills with all the spirits of the wild carved into stone on the cliffs, near the gate to hoelbrak is exceptionally beautiful as well as the spirit watch pvp map.

Pfff, people just like the shiny and sunny surface…

I prefer a nice, damp hole to crawl into. Come on people, you know you want to leave the surface behind. Every third person to join the Moletariate get a free complementary Skritt!

Yeah, love the Dredge caves, too. As well as freakin’ Skrittsburgh. .

I like the Cymbel’s Rescue area of Fields of Ruin. It’s very peaceful. And I still feel bad about how I killed the Timid Hyena there the first time I explored it.
