Guild Wars 2

I know this kind of thread gets overdone at times, but I thought I’d bring it again to see people’s favourite and least favourite classes following all the latest updates, as well as HoT changes.

At the moment, this is my consensus:

Favourite: Ranger
Least Favourite: Engineer, Guardian
Currently testing: Necromancer

My ranger runs a Survival/Bleeding build with Axe/Torch and so far, I almost never die. Granted, I don’t do as much damage as other classes, but hey, I am enjoying it, even though the pet AI is still fairly dumb at times.

Favorites:
1. Elementalist
2. Engineer

Least Favorites:
1. Guardian
2. Thief

I still like all the professions at least a little bit, but eles and engis have been my favorite for a long time. I have a guardian and a thief, too, but I just can’t get into them. I always end up missing my ele whenever I play on them, lol.

Favorite: Reaper (tankiness = survivability in HoT imo)
Least favorite: Thief, Engineer (not necessarily DD or Scrapper)
Will soon be testing: Warrior/Berserker
Will be testing later: Rev/Herald, Mes/Chrono

Favorites:
1/2. Necro and Engineer

Least Favorite:
1. Revenant

I think they should have put the Healer spec on the guardian instead of the ranger. Also daredevil is just a better aerobatics…..which feels like more of a respec instead of its own thing.

I honestly like all the classes, I find them all a blast to play.

If I had to choose a least favorite it would probably be Necro and my favorite Warrior.
