Saw this video on youtube and I had to share it with the GW2 community, it’s such a beautiful cover of the Guild Wars 2 song “Fear not this night”.

Yep, Malukah is pretty good singer

Piano is ok, Violin is awesome, voice is not good and brings absolutely not the mood of the song over.

Malukahs voice is much much better for song covers like the stuff from The Elder Scrolls Skyrim where she covered the Dragonborn Song.

Thats the type of songs, that truly fit to her voice as there she was ableto bring over the right mood.

Fear not this Night’s original singer’s voice is far more superior and in my opinion out of reach for Malukahs voice as Asjas sounds alot clearer to bring over the pitchs of the song in the right way, that you can feel the emotion of the song.
But Malukash voice has such a, how should I describe it… too smooth sounding tune that she can’t reach with her voice those really high pitches that give this song the right emotions from the original thats being sung by Asja

Just hear the original and compare it directly and U’ll get what I’m tryign to express here

I don’t know I think her voice brings “flavor” to the original song and I actually prefer this cover. The softness of her voice I really love it for some reason. And around 3:05-4:10 she hits high notes no problem so I assume she is doing the softness on purpose. And yes the violinist is just amazing, check out her other covers she is 10X better than the original songs in my opinion.
