Feature: 1-5 pre-saved Trait Configurations
I think virtually everyone would very much appreciate a trait/build saving feature. It’s amazing that they still have not implemented this feature into the game yet. And to those that point to how long it took to save builds in GW1, I respond by saying they should have learned how useful it was and added it into GW2 right from the start.
The devs know we wanted saved builds at launch. The devs know we wanted saved builds even more at the trait revamp a year ago. The devs know we still want it and according to Colin, they still haven’t worked on in it but would like to do it eventually.
atleast we can change traits anywhere we like for free.
once you learn all your builds you use. It takes seconds to set it up anyway. but yes I 100% agree for load outs.
and to expand on it. also let us save gear to the build load out so we can swap traits / builds and gear at the same time out of combat

I think there was a dev post in the pvp forums where they discussed build saving. Apparently they want to do a complete build saving functionality, weapons, armor, traits, skills, everything which is why it’s taking so long to implement.
Just saving/loading traits shouldn’t be hard to implement, it’s when items come into play that it gets tricky. But even in GW1 you couldn’t do both at the same time, there were different build codes for items and builds, I don’t understand why they do something similar here too…
Ah ok, thanks. I didnt play GW1 so didn’t know it was a previous thing. Glad to see this proposal is already out there.
