We got a preview of the balances that will take place for the Feature update, are there any plans to give a preview of the actual features soon?

I was wondering this myself. With certain other mmo releasing in 2 months and 3 days and announcing it’s pre-orders this week, I’d have thought this would be the ideal time to remind players why they should stay invested in GW2

Can we get any word on if/when a features preview might be on the horizon at least? Is this something anyone else would be interested in seeing?

They gave a preview of the balance patch in order to keep the community involved and make changes based on feedback.
This is a great idea but wouldnt make sense in some other areas, especially those that influence the economy, for example pre cursor crafting.

I was thinking more tangible features – future plans for maps/quests/classes/races – content post LS season 1 or maybe some of the stuff coming in the massive features patch. Something to look forward to for people unsure about whether to stay or try one of this years’ new releases.

I think Colin stated somewhere that he will do a blog post on the stuff to come this year in march, when the LS Season 1 is over.

Arena.net’s been bitten a few too many times by players for talking about features and content before they were pretty much completed and ready to roll out within that week.

This is the result of that player overreaction. Now they aren’t talking about it anymore until it’s pretty much at our doorstep.

I do not think the balance happens this week its some type in march most ppl think after this arc of the LS is over.
