Positive & Negative feedback on the Daydreamer Weapon set;

Positive
Nice colours and nice detail.
(This is the kind of quality Dungeon weapons should have had at launch. The Arah weapons are a monotone disaster, for example.)

Negative
The style is the same as previous releases, and therefore lacks a certain uniqueness.
They look and feel as though their 3D model bases have merely been copied, and then simply altered from earlier pieces. Run out of ideas??
They look as though the artist, in an attempt to achieve uniqueness and creativity, has “tried to hard”, they’re too “loud”.

One of the best looking swords in the game in my opinion, is Kymswarden. (if there were particle effects or glows, it would be even more amazing) One of the best looking bows is the Mistforged Long Bow. I would like to see more weapons like these; simple, yet attractive.

The Arah weapons are still some of my favorite skins in the entire game. I love them just how they are right along with their blue misty effect.

On another note I love the dreamer weapons just how they are as well.

Beauty is subjective. I am sorry you don’t like them as much. I hope they put something in the game you like more soon!

I personally love them because of their lack of over the top particle effects! The greatsword for once actually looks decent, i mean its still big..but its not to big! The pistol, sword, greatsword and the warhorn are all favorites of mine now, wish i could get all of them.

Yeah, we’re definitely lacking in options for short swords. Could do with a few sized closer to the ones from the Mystic set.

I think they’re pretty gorgeous, TBH.

Lovely colours and design and a subtle effect.

However, they’re currently far too expensive (on the TP), IMO.

I don’t see why a weapon on the TP should cost more than one in the gemstore and £7 or £8 seems like more than enough to me.

Plus I’m kind of weighing up my future in the game, so buying stuff (especially overpriced stuff) does seem a bit daft.

Need less Sylvari looking stuff.

Need more Charr themed stuff.

Not every single art asset is going to appeal to every single person in the game. Luckily, there are an abundance of black lion sets to choose from.

My only issue with the set is…. The greatsword is dull!

Would be cool if the one handed sword looked more like the great sword instead of…some shapeless glass thing.

I warmly welcome these new skins; been waiting forever for new green themed ones as no dyes properly match the Dragon’s Jade skins. Heh.

Daydreamer theme is very ornate and detailed but it makes me sad to a degree that some of them look on par or better than a legendary in appearance and effort. Disregarding comparing though – these new weapon skins are very cool.

I like them, and i also like that they seem to be connected with sylvari/pale tree (just look at the shield). I have yet to decide if im picking one up or not, but i think they are very nice
