What about people like me who like obnoxious sound effects spammed every second? It’s about time a game catered to my demographic with things like the Mini Super Assassin (the loudest and most majestic of all minipets).
Now if only they didn’t destroy the realism of my Teragriff Tonic. Nerfing the sound is one thing but completely removing it is just mean.
Such a sad world we live in. I knew I shoulda moved to Jupiter.

I’m all for more options and settings. That mini Toxic Hybrid drove me nuts for a couple of months before I figured out the sound was coming from a mini. Thought it was a sound bug….
One of my guildies made this complaint earlier. I agree that there should be an option to turn off mini noises. I also get tired of hearing the super mini ninja (?) making that panting noise when running. I, myself, don’t have that mini, but hearing it from others’ minis can get taxing.
Or even make it so only the mini’s owner can hear their mini’s noises.

Some mini noises like from the toxic hybrid mini carry over long distances.
it is hard to chill out at the bank or crafting station if some pesky mini is shouting at you every few seconds.I’d kindly ask you to implement an option in the audio menu so that we can disable the mini sounds.

When there are too many players in an area, minis are automatically stashed to prevent lag. However if you really want a quiet crafting station, I recommend finding or purchasing one of those accesses to the airship or the private area of the Pavilion. Each of those being locked off from the rest of the player base is your best option.
Otherwise, might I recommend going to a station that is in a city not frequently visited by mass players (Holbrek or The Black Citadel?).
When I was messing with sound settings to try to silence a toxic hybrid, I was sitting on turret 5 at Teq 5 minutes before spawn, and the mini was at north boats. That is a bloody long way away for that noise to carry.

A bit off topic, but does anyone know why the music gets really quiet when you get near Teq or the spot he stands in? Its kinda annoying to me

I miss the time when we could just find and rename/replace the sound file in a game directory and effectively desactivate it for good.
Yep fully agree. Particularly the little blocky sprite looking guy that makes annoying and frequent sounds both then it stands still and when it moves.
I agree with adding them to the player instrument panel.
