I think a tiger themed legendary is awesome! :D I’d personally go with a hammer for tiger though. I think a lion themed sword or greatsword would be cool too.

But really, I like to use the flamethrower on my engineer in first-person view in central Tyria, so I really do see things flying at my face.

You complain but this would be my dream weapon. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Tigers! If this bow has anything to do with tigers then I’m down down down for it!

I am actively working on The Dreamer precursor collection, but I’m definitely halting that till this shortbow is revealed. Tigers trump unicorns for me 100 times out of 100 times!

Should be cool, but its kind of sad that Shortbow’s presence in the game is a utility weapon for Thief and one of Ranger’s crappiest options.

Of course, one should keep in mind that they’re increasing the weapon sets for each profession. So maybe they choose that one as its already a weapon for one of the new elite professions.

Speaking of tiger themed stuff I had an idea for legendary dyes in the forum awhile back where instead of one color it’d be two colors. Maybe a tiger dye would be cool too? It would be Carnage Orange with Shadow Abyss stripes. Pattern would mostly be consistent and be a leather dye but still look great on metal.

Yeah the fact that only 2 classes use it is awful. I wouldn’t mind waiting an extra month or two if they put out a legendary that most classes use. Sigh A tiger themed short bow…. “GRRRREAAT!” /s

Grinding HOPE for my thief made me almost uninstall this game. The weapon is great replacement for Quip (dat Star Wars flair). Not sure i could go through the same struggle again for SB – it better be amazing. Also, as said above: anything is better than annoying unicorns.

Personally I think it looks super crappy but w/e.

edit: To clarify, by crappy I mean ‘not legendary at all’. Yes it’s alright and not every legendary needs to be over the top (I personally enjoy the sleek, simple skins much more) but it’s just super generic and underwhelming in terms of design.

Thx for the pic however I can’t possibly think of an instance where this thing receives any actual hype. Thieves and Rangers and short bow isn’t even the most used weapon by either class either.

Unless ANET slaps on short bow on the majority future Elite specs if the game lasts that long or the even more radical idea of Anet expanding on the weapons and skills of the base classes.

At the end of the day it’s the last legendary that can only be used by two classes who barely use the weapon class. It probably would’ve been better if it was an aquatic because more classes would at least be able to equip it.
