Ok so I think there should be a fixed location for that cat during the halloween event.
While acquiring through the witch broom should only be when halloween is over.
I mean it makes no difference that way as the costume stays forever so halloween or not we can get it any time. Unless we can only feed it during halloween but I doubt that’s the case. So I think there should be a fixed location for it atm like in the Labyrinth or at the top of the Clock Tower.
The easiest way, I think, to unlock the cat, is to go to LA during ‘Mad King Says’. There is always lots of players doing Costume Brawl right after. Usually a witch or three there at that time.
I just asked someone who looked like a Witch to spawn the familiar for me. As it turns out, ‘she’ didn’t know what to feed her familiar & I did, so it was win-win.

Have there been any confirmations for this? Masterwork minis are often gemstore ones, and a halloween themed cat mini is something that would definitely rake in a whole lot of money.
Had anyone had a problem allowing others to get the communication skill to allow them to add the cat? I’ve been summoning the cat, but no one is getting the skill.

They need at least one cat in their home instance. If you’re in LA, the easiest way would be to buy a spicy flank steak off the TP for like 12s and give it to the cat next to the cooking station.
Edit: There are cheaper options than what I mentioned.
