Female Outfits more accurate than male
I often like the male outfits a lot. My charr and my asura males still wear the wedding outfit, because i think they fit their culture very well.
except for asura and charr I also like my guys wearing daydreamers finery.
In some cases i think it is more difficult to make good clothing for men, because there are a lot more rules what’s socially acceptable for a man in a video game to wear than for a woman.
A woman ( in a non PG18 game) can wear almost everything as long as you don’t see nipples and reproductive organs… men still have to look manly or cool or atleast “funny” to not hurt the delicate eyes and souls of the gaming community.
You’ve gotta do more than design some kind of swimsuit or bikini and overknees and say “there new skin, buy it people”.
i think designer often design the woman clothing first and then they struggle a bit with time and ideas when they’ve got to find an outfit fitting the same theme for the guys. ^^"

Male medeim illustrus (ascended) armor looks more detailed then on female.

Cuz boobs, nuff said.
Yeah because armor with the breasts flopping out and hips flashing is totally accurate and protective.
And supermodels with tiny waists, perfect makeup, and triple-d balloon chests… those are totally accurate representations of soldiers.
It’s just not fair, those silly females! They get treated with respect! Being a man is just awful :,(
I don’t know if this is a joke topic, but most of the male armour seems a lot better designed than the female options, which are usually just a bunch of patches cut out of the fabric to expose flesh.
I would not say they are more accurate but i can def say i will never go back to a male sylvari over a female there animations is miles better – not as stiff and even the voice actor is better imo
“Female Outfits more accurate than male”
Assuming you meant outfits and not armors, in what way? It can’t be ‘historical’ accuracy because that’s just ludicrous.
Do you mean that they have less clipping, in that they more accurately fit the body models? That’s because they clip out fleshy windows all over the female outfit. I would love to see equal treatment to outfits in this respect.
I have a simple rule. If the game is first-person, I play male because where it’s just hands it feels more like an extension of myself. If the game is third-person, I play female, because if I’m spending hours looking at someone’s backside, it might as well be female. That said, I do find the female animations better and both male and females characters build to be overly idealistic for humans. Female armor, on the other hand, in many RPGs tends to border on laughable. Less=higher armor class it seems. It GW2, one of mains is a human female guard and I looked at a lot of armor combinations, nearly all of which had some ridiculous little skirt thing. Ultimately I went with Primeval armor as it seemed the most like actual armor. I have a mesmer I will eventually level up and that one I know I might have to make some compromises on. Human light armor often borders on obscene, which is fine, but it is what it is. :P

I did not want people thinking Doggie started it with their response that was to the OP. Thread will likely be (auto-?)deleted eventually due to the OP being deleted.

Good female outfits though still cover quite a decent amount while still bringing forth the character’s beauty. The human wedding dress and Noble Countess outfit are perfect examples.
When will this war on men end!?
What do you mean by accurate?
