Boon and condition duration are a huge elephant in the room after the last patch. It was messy even before, and now that they’ve been removed from the trait lines it’s even worse. Not only is it “weaker” than it was before, but even if you try to have a build focusing on condi or boon duration, you end up getting way too much from food and way too little from anything else. It’s just very, very poorly appropriated.

At this point, those two attributes are in bad need of a redesign. IMO, they need to work exactly like Ferocity/critical damage and be normalized as standard attributes on gear. You should also at least consider combining them into one attribute.

I.e.:

Concentration > Boon Duration
Expertise > Condition Duration

Renaming critical damage into ferocity was stupid and didn’t achieve anything, I’m not talking about the functional changes because they had purpose.

Uh, you realize that they didn’t “rename” critical damage, they added Ferocity as a new stat that affects the existing stat that is still called critical damage?
