Guild Wars 2

Hi All,

Please forgive me if this is not the right forum. I hardly get to play because of RL commitments. I have managed to steal some time here and there and I just have a few comments concerns which I was hoping someone could alleviate

1) Even though I log in from the same PC, the game keeps asking me to click on authentication emails. Is my ISP changing my IP address all the time?
2) I have changed my password, but the “remember password” button does not seem to work and it only stores my old password. Any suggestions?
3) I played my lvl 17 mesmer from midnight to 1am London time on a Friday morning (thursday night) I was in queensdale and moved onto the area south of queensdale. I saw NOBODY else adventuring around. Why was the world empty?
4) Any suggestions on how to find the right guild? I am basically a casual player that enjoys RP on Piken Square. IRL, I am a dad of 2 kids with a very time consuming job and I wish I could spend more time playing but its tough. As a pvp gamer I like to think I am reasonably competent and will eventually take it seriously once I start doing it (right now I am slowly levelling and enjoying the game)

1) The next time you authenticate your IP address, select the "remember this address’ box right underneath the confirmation button.
2)Not sure about this.
3)With so many players farming in Orr, a lot of the lower level areas are rather empty nowadays. I am, however, somewhat surprised to hear that you didn’t see a single person out there.
4) Gw2guilds.org has a huge list of guilds looking for all sorts of players. You can look there and apply. Otherwise, just makes some friends in the game and join their guild. Best guild to join is one where you have people to play with

1. When you get that email to confirm the IP log in attempt do you/have you ticked the box to remember this IP? If not it will ask you to do it every time.
2. Password changes or resets you will have to contact support by submitting a ticket
3. Depending if the server is US/AU etc focused then off peak times can be quite, you can try moving to a server known to have a heavy population of your country.
4. You can find guilds on this forum, through Enjin websites or in game.

Also don’t worry about not having as ton of time as RL is more important and this game has no subscription and they have minimized the typical mmo grind and the need to get to max level before the real fun starts is not as needed in this game.

Play the game at your own pace and enjoy it.
