Questions… I got a few of them
1. Why are there now taxes on buying gems with real money?
2. Were the Black Lion Keys removed from the level 10 story completion?
I had exactly 10 dollars left in my account and i was going to buy gems today. I got to the end and found that there is a new TAX on buying gems. I was wondering why?
And i have made / leveled up like 3-5 characters today to 10. Then i went through and did ALL of the level 10 story in hopes of getting keys. I did not get a single key in all the hours i spent today leveling characters and doing stories.
1. Various state and federal regulations change in the addition of state taxes on internet sales... thank your politicians, Anet just following the laws.
2. BL Keys are limited to 1 per week to prevent key farming. This change was implemented some time ago and was mentioned in patch notes at the time.
Well the thing is. I have gotten more then like 4 keys this past like week and a half off leveling characters to 10 then doing the stories. They should have left that alone since it can take HOURS to do it. And For the last year i have been buying gems for 10 bucks. Now all of a sudden there is taxes on it thats just silly. If you mean you get key 4 time from do level 10 story in week no you have not. This was change some time ago. One key for level 10 story account a week. If you did it is bug or you find exploit. So you should report that or you account could get ban for use exploit.
About tax that is not a thing Anet control. Local law and Anet bill company control that. You maybe think silly but Anet can not help with that.

The taxes aren’t “all of a sudden” and they have nothing to do with ANet. Some people always paid taxes on gems; some didn’t. That’s a change made by your local/state/federal government and probably took effect new year’s day, as do many other new laws and regulations.
“Key runs” by definition cannot “take HOURS” to finish. If you have gotten “4 keys this past like week” then that’s a bug — there’s only supposed to be one key per L10 story.
