Hello.

Ill keep this brief. I was expecting to experience HoT content WITH HoT content. I find now that i wont unlock elite specs until most of the HoT maps are done, and there is a huge dent in my masteries.

This leaves for me once i unlock scrapper, as a non raider, going back to fractals, SW, teq and world bos farms with a hammer instead of a rifle.

Would have been nice to bash and bring the pain to mordremoth with new flavour, but my story will be mostly done with core engineer.

If this is the design goal, cool, than i want to thank you for teaching me the final lesson in never pre ordering games in the 2015 market. The fact the 400 point unlock was left till 4 days before release is nothng more than an insult.

And to those that say, “just WvW for spec, just complete Tyria map complete for a jump on it, just do masteries on one character and then get a jump on the real elite spec you want, just play spvp to enjoy new spec”

i have one question

what happened to “play how you want to play”

good luck all.

“Play how you want” represented the notion that you got all the fun stuff early so that you could actually experience the bulk of the game with the fun stuff. Now people are being asked to grind and grind and grind to unlock the fun stuff only to find out they themselves completely burned out and left with little desire to rerun the same content they’ve already exhausted. This doesn’t apply to everyone, but there are people who aren’t going to appreciated this shift in paradigm.
