I found out that the once gemstore-only finishers are now up on the TP, and even if it kinda bugs me that the finisher I chucked a few hundred gems for is now only a mere few pieces of gold, I wondered…

Is there any kind of compensation I can ask for my purchase?

(Not that I really would mind if there wasn’t, mind you. Anet is just so very generous with these things I thought there was a specialty or something that I missed. I got a lot of good uses for my finisher before finding it on the TP, so it was worth the gems spent.)

Besides…can’t really complain…I got all the other finishers I liked but never bought. >.>;;

Hehe someone’s being a kitteneeky, though I was surprised they were on tp too, just found out last week, bought all the finishers I had wanted before but didn’t want to spend gens on

If you had the finisher for more than 6 months(?) they will say no. You’ve had your use out of it. Not to mention you had it “exclusively” for how ever long you had it before it became RNG “free”.

Also they have been on the TP for sometime. I’m glad they went on to the TP, I personally would have never payed gems for them.

It can’t hurt to ask Support. These finishers have been on the TP for ages (and haven’t been available in the gem store for just over ages). So I don’t think it will be likely that you’ll get a refund. Mention that you just found out and be polite etc.

ya good luck, but bumping this thread, as I think finishers are great to pick up on the tp, and want more players to know.
