So, the current priority of combo fields is that the first combo field laid down will generate all finisher effects until its duration is up, and then the next field laid down will take effect, right?

What would you think if instead of this, all finishers used on top of multiple fields will generate all of the effects of the fields that were laid down.

Say for example 3 blast finishers were used on top of a Fire Field, Light Field, and a Water Field. there would be 9 stacks of AoE might, 9 secs(min) of Retaliation and the 3 blasts of AoE healing.
Would it be op?

Or is the current priority of combo fields better? what would anyone suggest differently or change about it, if they could?

It would be hella OP.

As far as combo fields, I would like to see the condition oriented ones do more. Have a set of conditions that are basically stronger versions of already existing conditions, and make them combo field specific.

If you shoot through a poison field, instead of applying poison you apply disease, which does more damage and spreads to nearby enemies.
Instead of a blast finisher in a poison field causing area weakness, it causes area enfeeble, which makes all hits done by enemies glancing blows
A leap finisher through a dark field or a shot through a smoke field would give ineptitude rather than blind, causing enemies to miss and take damage with their attacks for a duration.

ETC.

When I play ele, I always hate to see any combo fields other than my own. Because I ca give a team 12+ stacks of might in about 3 seconds using my own fire field. But I have to wait for all the other fields to expire first. Essentially there’s no field worth using my blast finishers in besides fire, because Might stacks so much better than basically all the others in combat.

And when im using my other characters, shooting, leaping or whirling through combo fields rarely feels as satisfactory as when you chain 4 blasts into a fire field.
