Guild Wars 2

I was testing the combo of Fire Field and Leap Finisher with two mobs. I would create the fire armor on the first mob inside the field, and then move to a second mob outside the field.

When I was attacking the 2nd mob, however, it didn’t appear that any of the burning condition was inflicted at all. Even though I was landing melee attacks.

Am I doing something wrong, or does Fire Armor just not work?

Fire shield only procs when the mob hits you, instead of when you hit it.

Ah gotcha. I was on my Ranger with a pet, and the mob was attacking the pet. That is why it didn’t work.
