Was wondering if it’s in anyway possible (and in the cards) upping Fire Elemental’s health pool? 8 seconds of fighting is a bit low (possible to miss out on the fight if you afk for a short timespan), and I seem to remember it lasting longer a year ago or so?

Lasted longer pre megaserver. I would say shortening the pre-event and increasing its health pool massively is in order and totally acceptable..

It needs to have a lot more health and the immediate pre-event (the one where you wait for several minutes, not the one where you escort the golem) needs to be removed.

Removed would be grand.

As it is, the 5-minute timer could be dropped to 3 minutes and the spawn rate needs to ramp up significantly. One veteran mob every 30 seconds isn’t sufficient, at all. A steady stream of elites, scaled in number to the players, would at least give people time to tag for the event.

(And for giggles, throw champion spinny golems on that platform people sneak onto. :P)

Man, I remember back when the game was still new and we had to fight on the bridge because it was impossible to fight in the room itself without dying. How times have changed. But I agree, HP needs a huge boost.

Maybe not more HP but more fight mechanics. Oh yeah and get rid of the ability to afk on the ledge.

Why?

You still get damage and need to do damage to get contribution.

Why?

You still get damage and need to do damage to get contribution.

Take damage from what? It’s dead in seconds and there are fewer mini flames or whatever they are called than before. I used to enjoy the FE since I had to dodge and time heals. Just making it a hp sponge won’t make it any more difficult – I mean look at Maw——SNORE.

Oh yeah .. “waiting for Godot” is how i call that event personally :/

EVERY MMO is awesome until it is released then its unfinished. A month after release it just sucks.
Best MMOs are the ones that never make it. Therefore Stargate Online wins.

Without a rework, that won’t change, a good band-aid would be a health pool increase. As for the ledge, which I am ACTUALLY referring to since you kittened about it, its no different than standing at the bottom. So I don’t see why it should be removed.
