I had the same problem in Far Shiverpeaks. The discription says population: ‘high’ but many areas except the starter ones are just empty..

High population doesn’t mean that those people actually play. They’re just filling up an available slot and may not have logged on in weeks.

You’ll be much better off on a lower population server with a larger active playerbase.

Hey, I just bash you, and this is frenzy,
But here’s my Wammo, so heal me maybe?

To people from Fissure of Woe and Vabbi: do yourself a favour and join us on Ruins of Surmia, community is healthy and can sustain itself in the longer run, but it needs more people. I’m not trying to start an argument here, all I can say is that you’ll be welcomed with open arms here if you transfer.

Actually according to the devs infact the population represents current players logged in. Hince why the pops flux and full servers have low points where new accounts can join them.

That’s because just about everyone is in the higher level areas now. I’m on a high population server and only occasionally see people in low level areas yet a lot in the higher level areas.

I have no problems at all finding people whatever time of day it is on Sorrow’s Furnace. Sometimes some of the newbie areas are a little sparse but I found plenty of people in Kessex Hills last night, for example.

Its one area where the whole dynamic event thing is a bit of a fail because at this stage starting areas and end areas are well packed but the rest can be ghost town.. Why not have dynamic major events and attractions that use quiter areas.. Or simply make sure one type of mat is only avail in one area
