I really like the Ancestral Outfit and think the Armor Team did an awesome job. However, one of the dye channels seems to be off. You are unable to make the dragon on the right arm the same color, without “hiding” the designs on the outfit itself. Is this intentional? Even if it is, could you please alter it so that the whole costume can be seen/enjoyed? Thanks for reading!

PS: I tried adding two screens, to show the differences.

LOL So many views. Anyone else have any thoughts/opinions about this?

I actually love it as is. If they change the dye channels we are probably going to lose the lines that separate the shoes from the stockings.

It is based on Mesmer Canthan Elite armor. No – I wouldn’t change a thing.

My biggest issue is if you dye it so you can see the pattern. You can also clearly see a clipping glitch on the hip (can even see it on your second pic lol). If you dye the pattern all the same its not really noticeable. Kind of ruins the dye options. :<

I don’t see the glitch on the hip. Are you talking about the cutout in the fabric where the skin shows?

Also, I don’t really want a lot changed. I was just kind of hoping they would/could take the upper part of the dragon and place it in the same dye channel as the lower part of the dragon, so that it would look like once piece/accessory. I figured since it was an outfit and not a single armor piece, it might be easier to accomplish. I probably should have been more clear in my initial post.

You can clearly see the clipping glitch right next to her hand on the right (left hip, second picture). If you want to see it more clearly just go in game and stare at the left hip/thigh. You cant miss it.

I didn’t think the fabric wrapped around the right arm was supposed to be part of a dragon- i thought it was like an upper arm bracelet/clasp. I’m also not seeing the clipping issue; the left side has 3 different layered fabrics. Maybe you can see it in my human picture, since mine uses 4 dyes. I find that the outfit looks best with dyed 4 different colors, or at least 3. Here’s what I have anyway:

@ Spoj: I see it now, I was looking at the other hip. I don’t see it in Rhapsody’s pictures though, so maybe it’s our graphic settings doing it?

@ Rhapsody: I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure that’s supposed to be a serpentine Dragon and that the upper part is the tail. It’s scaly like a dragon tail, but maybe you’re right.

If the dragon connected from the right hand, along the arm and up to the neck, I could see an issue with the dye slots. The neck and hand have 2 separate dragons, which is why I assumed the bit on the arm was just a dragon themed decoration. I think what you guys are seeing as “clipping” is the folds of the fabric.

Sorry I keep editing to add more: the part on the arm is not connected to either dragon, here’s how it looks from the back/side.

Yeah, I knew they weren’t physically connected. I just thought it was supposed to give the illusion of being a single entity, with either the wrist dragon or neck dragon. However, it doesn’t color properly with either.

Yeah its where the folds are. Its really irritating and obvious though. You dont notice it if the colours are the same. Kind of ruins the costume for me because I cant dye it exactly how I want without putting up with a really obvious clipping glitch. I also ruined the costume for a friend on the first day we got it when i pointed out the clipping to him. x)

Also i cant see it on your screenshot. So it may be to do with our graphics settings. Can I ask what settings you have? A screenshot would suffice. Thanks.

And i agree I would prefer the dragon to be all on the same dye channel to be honest. But i can overlook that.

If you die and look between the female human’s legs/thighs, there is a see through bug on her crotch where you can see the terrain beneath her body through it. Sometimes its just blue ground/water (like when nothing loads yet).

I’ve seen the clipping on other people’s pictures but not on my characters. I wonder if it has to do with body type. Because of how the armor in this game can make the females look “wide load,” most of mine have the thinnest possible body type. If you have a total makeover kit and your outfit clips, maybe view with a thinner body and see if it’s still there.
