My howler doesn’t feel legendary, the footfalls totally blow… and myself and others complain about how freaking annoying it is at night,, the howling is extremely annoying…. I want to throw this thing in the garbage. please fix this Anet!

any other howler owners please chime in even if you dissagree

Then…why did make the howler if you didnt like the howl?

I myself know ALL the effects, sounds, particle, ingredients and animations of the 3 legendaries I want all thanks to ONE click into wikipedia…..

White smoke effect has to be more visible. I got howler and it does feel kinda boring.

It’s ok. A lot of the existing legendaries feel extremely underwhelming. So you’re not alone

I love the howling sound.

I wish the footsteps were more visible and lasted longer – equivalent to how long you can see the footsteps from something like Kudzu or The Dreamer.

I’m disappointed with mine but, I didn’t make it for the skin. The whole water/fog/whatever the footfalls and skill activation clouds are supposed to be seem out of place in the context of a wolf howling at the moon. Also, the thing clips into my leg constantly.

It would be nice if anet did something severe with this one. While I don’t understand the relationship between wolf and snake, it would be nice if this thing wasn’t so monotone.

so, i crafted my howler recently and i’m mostly satisfied – the aura and footsteps are nice and subtle (one doesn’t have to open portals to another dimension like twilight does to feel nice)

however, the thing that really, really annoys me is the loop sound during the night. once per use it’s fine, but if you run through maps just for mining and stuff, it can drive you nuts – hearing the same 3 sec sound over and over again. i used the king toads warhorn before the howler and i kinda liked it, but it was at least 5 different creepy sounds per use – what howler at night is just insane. it’s like your ringtone – you want to hear that only when someone calls you, not over and over again, till you throw the thing out of a window.

otherwise it’s a very nice legendary, just fix the nighttime sound, because yes – it sounds more like a glitch than a feature and it’s super annoying over time. thanks
