Fix the Rubberbanding Please
have you considered the possibility this is on your end?
I can’t say I’ve had any major lag problems (or even any minor ones) since HOT came out.
I experience this as well and I suspect servers are dying bc the new content (raid) somehow taxes them in an unforeseen manner. Idk why it affects some people and others not but it affects many who had 0 problems before HoT.
The weird thing is, these kind of rubberbanding lags suddenly come and suddenly disappear again after some time.
Sure I considered the problem being on my end, thats why Ive written some infos based on my side, that I play with the 64bit client, so one thought naturalyl might be, that its the cvlient self, because its still BETA you know.
So one hsould expect some issues coming from it maybe, but this kind of insane sudden rubberbandign and massive game client crashign not only once, but like 4-5 times in a row within a few minutes isn’t surely imo the fault of the 64bit client.
I’ve a VDSL50 connection, so its a stabile and good connection.
I’ve never ever before experienced in the 3 years that the game exists such a kind of rebubberbanding and client crashes en mass in the wayfarer foothills map when the frozen maw event was running.
As said, the map never actually reaches even at all the player amounts that like a Tequatl, a Tarir, a Tripple Wurm or a DS Meta event reaches.
if you see on the map at the event maybe like maximum 50-60 people there, then this is already very much and hsould cause by far not such a massive lag that my cam skill lags to the point that it crashes from it … when I experienced such kind of crashes only at these super events in HoT maps pre 64bit client at all
So I’m pretty convinced, that it is a kind of serverside problem that causes these current unstabile crazy sudden ping bursts, which suddenly became more and more only after HoT release and basically never exisated before (at least for me) ever in the game at all anywhere at any event situation, not even world bosses at maximum settings everywhere Ultra/High.
I seriously wouldnt have made this thread, I’f I’d find this situation not fishy and absolutely unnormal lately and it surely can’t hurt the game if the resposnible devs at least take a look over it tosee, if theres something maybe that could cause these problems what could get fixed to ensure, that the game gets again a morestabile performance with those weird rubberbanding lags disappearing again.
I have usually stabile pings between like 40-60 ms what is very good
When this value then suddenly bursts out of nowhere to massive 2340ms, drops down to 60 again just to burst then a few seconds later up again to massive 1250ms and wildly jumping up and down then between values that are still like more than 10-15x higher than normal, like a crazy jojo..then this is definetely NOT normal
I guess, that everyone can agree with me on this, right???
